Adopt a Family for the Holiday

Help us make sure every child in our community has a wonderful Christmas and inspire a sense of giving in your family during the holiday season as well.

By agreeing to adopt a family you are making a commitment to provide gifts that give a meaningful Christmas to a family in need. However, we do not set a minimum expectation as to what you must provide for the family. The wish-list that the families provide is meant to be a guide in helping you to give items that are truly needed or desired in order to give the family a reason to celebrate on Christmas Day.

  • To help maintain the family's dignity, no personal or identifying information will be shared with sponsors.

  • Cash gifts are not permitted to be given to the family, however gift cards are encouraged. You may consider a donation to Lodi Family Center of $25 to help provide a food box for the family since most pantries are closed over the holidays.

  • You may include clothing items in the children’s gifts. It is great if each child could receive a warm new outfit, a pair of pajamas, new underwear or socks.

  • You may also consider providing each child with an age appropriate book. Over 8.5 million US children lack access to the literacy resources they need. Reading empowers children to discover their interests and develop the skills they need to pursue them. The earlier they start, the farther they go. Learn more about our Reading Club program and Give the Gift Of Reading.

  • Lastly, we kindly ask that you do not wrap your gifts so that parents can see what they have been given and to allow them to feel included in the gift giving process. You may donate tape, bows, gift wrap, or gift bags if you’d like.

Please drop off your application at one of our Meet Us locations or email it to NorthPole@Christmas4Kidz.org. Thank you for your help!
